In observation of Black history month, Artistic Director, Juan de Dios Soto, will present “Hijos de Africa” a curated multidisciplinary art exhibition that honors the legacy and cultural contributions of the African Diaspora in Latin America and the United States. Artistic Director of Jaranon y Bochinche, Juan de Dios Soto, will feature a diverse group of artists that explore the stories and influences of African Ancestors through photography, sculptures, and other visual mediums. Featuring Sady Morales, Italo Vallé, Juan de Dios Soto, Maga Rincon, and more. The exhibit is held as part of MCCLA’s, Corazon del Barrio.
